Nissan Leaf Review | A Comprehensive Car Review by Wagonex
The Nissan LEAF has been with us for 10 years and is the car that other small electric cars are measured against. It's a bit of an icon on our roads, It has become an electric benchmark for the simple reason that it is one of the best around in terms of range, build quality, and versatility.
We have several types here at Wagonex to fit your pocket and your lifestyle.
Our lowest price is reserved for the 146bhp LEAF. This is the second generation of the LEAF and has it improved in every area….which of course is one advantage of being able to check out what the opposition is up to and make alterations accordingly.
The Nissan LEAF is a really smart all-electric family hatchback that is ideal in the city AND on longer journeys. Nissan reckons you’ll get 177 miles on a full charge. If you have a normal home charger or one at work, a full charge will take around 7.5 hours. A rapid charger reaches an 80 percent charge in an hour.
In terms of kit you get satellite navigation, leather upholstery, parking sensors, Bluetooth, and a load of safety aids.
Something that you’ll grow to love is the ‘e-Pedal’ which comes as standard. It’s an accelerator pedal that, when you lift off, charges the battery and gives you the equivalent of engine braking. Get used to it and you’ll never touch the brakes because you learn how to anticipate when, for example, you are approaching traffic lights and need to lift off. The car then rolls to a near standstill and gives the battery a boost at the same time, therefore, extending your range. Clever huh?
Simple to drive. Ideal for the family. The Nissan LEAF is a class act.
