Is Insurance Included with a Wagonex Car Subscription?

A common question received by our customer service team is whether insurance is included in your car subscription.

If that’s what you want to know, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Is insurance an added cost?
  • Is insurance included in your monthly subscription payment?
  • What are your options when it comes to insurance?

Is insurance an added cost?

Yes, the price you see displayed is only for that specific vehicle. Your insurance policy is set up on the next stage of our checkout once you have chosen the car you want.

Unlike fleet or traditional annual insurance, Wagonex insurance offers the same level of flexibility as our car subscriptions. There are no additional fees if you decide to cancel early or make a change, and you can extend your cover should you decide to keep the car for longer.

Is insurance included in your monthly subscription payment?

No, it will be billed separately. This is done so you can see both payments clearly in your account and you can check if there are any errors on either fee.

What are your options when it comes to insurance?

You have two choices:

  1. Use Wagonex’s personalised insurance
  2. Go elsewhere and have your insurance set up from your usual provider

Either option will work but if you use our insurance, we will store all documentation in your account and you can set up insurance with just a few clicks. If you use your own insurance company then you will just needto share your insurance certificate with our suppliers

Take a look at our guide to find out more about Wagonex insurance.

Have any questions about insurance? Don’t hesitate to chat to our customer service team in the bottom right corner!

Reminder: It is your responsibility to set up insurance, if you don’t have an insurance policy on a vehicle then you will be breaking the law.
