In 2016, our CEO Toby Kernon began promoting the future of car subscription. He established Wagonex in August 2016 after being a frustrated car owner for many years. As a car lover who was going through the process of buying and selling cars over the years, he believed there had to be an easier, more flexible, customer-centric way of accessing a car. Everything was becoming available on subscription from music to razors, and he saw the move happening with car subscription in the US. Toby thought the UK should be next, and so Wagonex was born.
